UCNS Announces New and Recertified Neuro-oncology Diplomates

 

The United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) is pleased to announce the  names of the physicians who passed the 2017 UCNS Neuro-oncology Certification and Recertification Examinations.
 
Thirty-three physicians passed the UCNS Neuro-oncology Certification Examination, demonstrating their expert knowledge in this subspecialty area. These physicians now hold the distinction of being UCNS Diplomates. A total of 20 physicians passed the UCNS Neuro-oncology Recertification Examination and have demonstrated their commitment to life-long learning by meeting the continuing medical education and subspecialty knowledge requirements necessary to maintain their certification.
 
There are currently 2,701 certified UCNS-Diplomates and 187 UCNS-accredited training programs throughout nine UCNS-recognized neurologic subspecialty areas.
