Survivorship in Neuro-Oncology: Improving Care by Advancing Science

According to the National Cancer Institute, an individual is considered a cancer survivor from the time of diagnosis through the balance of his or her life. Essential components of survivorship care include prevention of recurrent cancer and late effects, surveillance for cancer recurrence and assessment and interventions for management of late psychological and medical effects . There is a paucity of literature related to these topics in neuro-oncology. This supplement to SNO’s official journal, Neuro-Oncology, includes manuscripts that provide an overview of these essential components specifically in neuro-oncology.

FREE CME is provided.
