The 23rd Neuro-Tumor Club Meeting will take place during the upcoming AACR Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL. The meeting, conducted in association with The Society for Neuro-Oncology, will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Monday, April 16th, in the Lurie Medical Research Building at the Northwestern Chicago campus (click here for map and building images). The Northwestern Chicago campus is located three miles to the north of the AACR meeting venue, McCormick Place, and is readily accessible by car as well as by public transportation. As in past years, this event will be an informal and stimulating exchange of current findings of specific and focused interest to investigators dedicated to brain tumor research. Meeting registration is free, and drinks & food will be provided, at no cost to meeting registrants, during a social hour from 5:00-6:00 pm, with presentations to follow from 6:00-9:00 pm. Costs associated with conducting this meeting are through the generous support of the Lou and Jean Malnati Brain Tumor Institute at Northwestern.

As has been the case for past Neuro-Tumor Club meetings, presentations will focus on themes of critical importance to Neuro-Oncology. Presenting authors will have the same amount of time for their presentation, with the amount of time determined by the number of abstracts that are selected for oral presentation. Authors of submitted abstracts that are not selected for oral presentation will have the opportunity to display and discuss their research during a poster session conducted as part of the 5:00-6:00 pm social hour.

Topics for presentation include:
1. Immunotherapy
2. CNS Metastases
