CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
The 25th Annual Scientific Meeting and Education Day of the Society for Neuro-Oncology will be held this year in the eclectic and dynamic city of Austin, Texas.

The SNO annual meeting is the world’s largest neuro-oncology conference, attracting over 2600 researchers and clinician scientists from more than 40 countries.  Spanning all neuro-oncology disciplines, professions, and interests, the 2020 SNO annual meeting will be the premier forum at which to share knowledge and gain insights on the future of neuro-oncology research and treatment.

2020 THEME 
The theme of this year’s anniversary meeting is 2020 Vision for the Future, and will focus on cutting-edge topics that will shape the future of neuro-oncology, including single-cell sequencing, big data and predictive analytics, biomarkers and liquid biopsy diagnostics, and the role of AI in neuro-oncology research.

OUTSTANDING NETWORKING 
In keeping with SNO’s previous events, the conference will provide a variety of opportunities for attendees to interact and connect with SNO members from around the world. In addition outstanding science and education, a number of social events have been organized, including a special Gala Anniversary Event on November 21, that will allow participants to celebrate the accomplishments of SNO’s first quarter-century.

COVID-19 UPDATE 
At the present time, we are planning to hold the conferences as scheduled.  We have been in contact with all of our meeting venues and hotel partners to discuss contingency plans as well as appropriate measures we can take on-site. Ultimately, the health and safety of our registrants, partners and SNO staff remain our main concern. We will continue to follow guidance and recommended safety measures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as state and local officials.  We look forward to seeing you in Austin!
