Miami Neuro and Neuro Nursing Symposium

The Miami Neuro Overview will take place November 7 - 8, 2019. This symposium will focus on recent advances in caring for neurology patients, stroke management, neuro-critical care, neuro-imaging, epilepsy and movement disorders, neuro-imaging and neuro-oncology. The expert faculty will engage participants through complex cases, novel treatment strategies and lively panel discussions.

The Miami Neuro Nursing Overview will take place immediately preceding the Neuro Overview, on Wednesday, November 6. Themed "Improving the Quality of Neuroscience Patient Care", the symposium will offers a broad neuroscience curriculum focusing on state-of-the-art, evidence-based practices for nurses and other healthcare professionals. The expert faculty will discuss the care and management of stroke, epilepsy, neurosurgical and critical care neuroscience patients from the nursing perspective. In addition, there will be specialized focus groups moderated by subject matter experts. The goal is to share the most innovative and evidence-based clinical practices to optimize patient outcomes through all areas of neuroscience.
