Asia-Pacific Neuro-Oncology CME Course

The Asia-Pacific Neuro-Oncology Conference will be held July 23 - 28, 2018 at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel in Waimea, Hawaii. This five-day CME course, the Harvard Medical School Asia-Pacific Neuro-Oncology CME Conference, is designed to provide an international audience with a comprehensive review of the diagnosis and management of adult and pediatric patients with primary and metastatic brain and spinal cord tumors and neurologic complications of cancer. Our target audience will be the health care specialists involved in the care of adult and pediatric neuro-oncology patients (oncologists, radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists and neuropathologists).

  • Appreciate the role of biomarkers in the diagnosis and treatment of brain and spinal cord tumors
  • Recognize and address neurological complications associated with cancer and new cancer therapies
  • Discuss the role of palliative and supportive care in neuro-oncology
