2017 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Poster Guidelines:
Poster presenters will have one half of a standard horizontal North American poster board. Poster should be no larger than 45" x 45" (115cm X 115m) and can be attached to the board with push pins (supplied onsite) or Velcro. Additional instructions, including submitting your poster in an electronic format, have been sent to the presenting author.

Embargo information:
The embargo for abstracts published in the 2017 abstract supplement to SNO official journal Neuro-Oncology will lift at 7:00 AM (EST) on Monday, November 6, 2017. These abstracts will be made available at: https://academic.oup.com/neuro-oncology. The embargo for accepted Late-Breaking abstracts will lift at 7:00 AM (EST) on the first day of the scientific meeting, Friday, November 17, 2017.  These abstracts will be made available at: https://academic.oup.com/neuro-oncology.

Abstracts for the 2017 Society for Neuro-Oncology Annual Meeting are now being accepted. As you prepare to submit your abstract, please note:

  • The abstract deadline is June 12, 2017, 11:59pm CST
  • Abstracts are limited to 300 words; figures and tables are not allowed
  • Abstract titles should use sentence case (i.e., only the first letter of the title should be capitalized)
  • The body of the abstract should be in a single paragraph. If subheaders are used, they should be within that single paragraph in all-caps, not bolded (e.g., METHODS:)
  • Abstracts should be data-driven and must include this information in the body of the abstract
  • The embargo for abstracts published in the 2017 abstract supplement to SNO official journal Neuro-Oncology will lift at 7:00 AM (EST) on Monday, November 6, 2017. These abstracts will be made available at: https://academic.oup.com/neuro-oncology
