MAIN SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM 

We are pleased to invite you to attend the 22nd Annual Scientific Meeting and Education Day of the Society for Neuro-Oncology! This year's meeting will highlight a number of the 10 Blue Ribbon Panel Recommendations related to the “Cancer Moonshots”  program. Dr. WK Alfred Yung, a member of the Blue Ribbon Panel, will present an introduction to the Moonshot program and three prominent keynote speakers will offer presentations related to the specific recommendations. Scientific Program Chairs: Manish Aghi, MD, Phd, Frank Furnari, PhD, and Vinay Puduvalli, MD

EDUCATION DAY

In keeping with the main meeting theme, the Education Day will focus on two of the Cancer Moonshot Blue Ribbon Panel recommendations: “Developing Ways to Overcome Resistance” and “Minimizing Cancer Treatments Debilitating Side Effects.” Concurrent tracks in both basic science and applied neuro-oncology will offer a comprehensive look at these two recommendations. Education Day Chairs: Khalid Shah, PhD, Albert Kim, MD, PhD, Susan Bell, MS, APN, and Robert Cavaliere, MD

SNO-SCIDOT JOINT CONFERENCE

The 2017 SNO-SCIDOT Conference on Therapeutic Delivery to the CNS will be held on November 15 - 16th, also at the Marriott Marquis. This conference is jointly hosted by the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) and the Society for CNS Interstitial Delivery of Therapeutics (SCIDOT). This year's conference will address the multiple laboratory and clinical advances that have been made in the field of interstitial delivery of therapeutics.  Conference Chairs: Michael Vogelbaum, MD, PhD (SCIDOT), Manish Aghi, MD, PhD (SNO).  For complete information, click on the "quick link" to the right.


NEURO-ONCOLOGY REVIEW COURSE

Back for a 3rd consecutive year, the Neuro-Oncology Review Course will be held Wednesday, November 15. This fast paced, full-day activity will provide high quality education and CME credits for all participants. Practicing physicians, residents and fellows, medical students, nurse practitioners, nurses, and all those interested in reviewing and enhancing their knowledge in the principles of clinical neuro-oncology will benefit from this program. GALA DINNER
