In addition to our physicians, Meridian Cancer Care offers a Nurse Navigator that will assist you throughout your entire journey.

Our Nurse Navigators are the patients’ main point of contact.  We like to think of them as our shepherds who are highly clinically trained and specialize in oncology. Our nurse navigators have years of experience in the treatment of cancer patients. They are connected to all of the physicians that you will need to see while at Meridian. And, with their knowledge, connections and extraordinary care, they can make your journey easy and seamless.  With a Meridian Cancer Care Nurse Navigator everything is possible.

From getting you an “impossible” appointment, to ensuring that all of your medical records, scans and labs get to the cancer team as soon as possible, they are there to help. They understand that it’s a difficult time and will assist you to ensure that you are informed, empowered and able to move throughout the cancer care center as easily as possible. They are your advocate from diagnosis to bedside.

Supportive Care

Meridian Cancer Care is also affiliated with the Monmouth and Ocean County Brain Tumor Support  Group, Inc. This group, founded by an 18-year brain tumor survivor, offers education and support for patients and their families who are have been affected by the disease.
